Biography
Entering the industry by way of a push mower and a few neighbor's willing to pay-- Loriena has developed her life long career through experience, education, and networking. She is passionate about sharing her experiences and knowledge with others so they can find success, too!

Loriena has a Turf and Ornamental Horticulture degree from the University of Minnesota and has owned her own company since 2001. Among the many certifications she has earned, Loriena is a Landscape Industry Certified Manager, and has completed a masters program in Landscape Business Management. Additionally, she is an Accredited Organic Landscape Professional.

With naturally strong leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit, Loriena earned recognition from NALP as the 2021 Women's Entrepreneur of the Year! She will use this award to share her journey of business ownership with others and to promote the horticulture industry as a fantastic career and entrepreneurial option for women.

Excellence in Horticulture is her guiding mission, finding greatest joy working with clients who have complex landscapes and value great horticulture management services.
